OWGS manufactures, markets and distributes a wide variety of premium meats and other gourmet products. Our production line represents a wide palette of products that are geared towards a diverse customer base and encompasses several key food markets. We are a family business and have been since our founding in 1968.
OWGS, a proud member of National Meat Association (NMA) is headquartered in Oakland, California. Our production facilities are USDA approved and include a manufacturing plant, distribution center, and freezer warehouses.
In 2001, OWGS has reached a significant milestone by opening its first fully equipped retail facility. During the same year, the company has set an exciting and challenging goal of strategically expanding its markets beyond North America. Currently we are in a late phase of negotiations with several food importers and food processors in Europe.
